How to get to Malaysia from Singapore by public transport? Take Causeway Link, the smiling bus :)

Of course, budget-conscious travelers may want to cross the Causeway by taking the Causeway Link bus. After all, it's not called "Causeway" Link for nothing :) After going through Woodlands, Singapore's passport control, you'll be taken to Malaysia's CIQ building by the same bus that you took to Woodlands earlier.

From this CIQ complex, after the Malaysia immigration formalities, it's literally a 2-minute stroll to City Square, the well-known mall that's pretty much everybody's first stop after leaving Singapore.
