The 7 most often asked questions about Causeway Link, including how to book bus tickets online, collecting your bus tickets, the fastest way to get to Malaysia etc.

Q 1. Why choose the portal?

A. You should use the Causeway Link travel platform because it offers a safe, Singapore-based, convenient, reliable, and cost-effective way to travel between Singapore and Malaysia. With a user-friendly online booking system, real-time schedule updates and a variety of routes and services, the travel portal ensures a seamless travel experience.

Q 2. Do I need to register first if I want to book my bus tickets online?

No, anyone can book online, without having to register first. And there's no need to download an app either. Just enter your location, destination, travel dates and the number of passengers into the booking form and off you go. Your bus details are emailed to you as your confirmation/e-ticket within seconds of completing your booking payment. The email address you submit during this payment process is the email address your confirmation email/e-tickets are sent to.

Q. 3. How can I pay for my online booking?

A. Payment can be done by:
  • - Credit card (Visa and Mastercard)
  • - eNETS (DBS, UOB, OCBC Internet Banking in Singapore)
  • - Alipay
  • - Paypal
  • - eWallets including DBS PayLah! and GrabPay
  • - AXS Stations
  • - Based in Malaysia? Then use any one of these banks: Maybank2U, Alliance, Hong Leong, RHB, CIMB Bank, AM Bank and many more. Or use TNG eWallet or Boost

Q 4. Can I book my Causeway Link tickets online?

A. Booking online is possible 24/7. Just make sure you arrive at your departure point at least one hour before your Causeway Link bus departs. After all, some periods are busier than others; ideally, some time buffer will enable you to complete the entire ticket collection process, even in the event there's a queue at the ticket counters.

Q5. What does the ticket counter need from me in order to validate my online booking?

A. You'll be asked to show your booking details in your confirmation email/e-ticket. Please make sure the screen of your device is clearly visible and all details can be seen. Counter staff may also request for your NRIC or passport.

Q 6. Do I need to print out my confirmation email/e-ticket?

A. When collecting your ticket at the Larkin Central Bus Station ticket counter, your ticket will be printed for you on the spot. This paper ticket is now your boarding pass, so hang on to it, since you will need the QR code on it to be granted access to your bus gate. It's also good to know that a 2 Ringgit service fee is levied for the boarding pass.

Q 7. I have another question. Where can I get assistance?
